The wheelchair basketball team at UT Arlington known as the Movin’ Mavs have won seven national championships, but never with a women’s team. One player is determined to change that.

And a new project called the ËÄ»¢Ó°Ôº Yearbook launches. As part our American Graduate initiative, we’re exploring the forces in teenagers’ lives that affect how they perform in high school, and whether they finish.

Courtney Collins has been working as a broadcast journalist since graduating from the Medill School of Journalism at Northwestern University in 2004. Before coming to ËÄ»¢Ó°Ôº in 2011, Courtney worked as a reporter for NPR member station WAMU in Washington D.C. While there she covered daily news and reported for the station’s weekly news magazine, Metro Connection.
