An arctic front will arrive in North Texas tonight. Daytime highs will only be in the 30s and 40s Tuesday through Thursday, . Lows at night will dip into the 30s and even the 20s in some parts. A mix of rain, sleet and freezing rain is possible Wednesday through Thursday for areas west of Dallas-Fort Worth, including western Tarrant County. Not much will accumulate, the weather service says. Precipitation should turn to rain by Thursday afternoon.
- Four members of a Crowley family were found dead inside a home Sunday. The reports: 鈥淎 9-year-old boy at the address called a female relative, who then reported a possible suicide. Officers found the bodies of two women, one man and a female younger than 15 with 鈥榦bvious signs of trauma鈥� just after 4 p.m. Sunday at the home in the .鈥� The boy wasn鈥檛 injured. He鈥檚 in protective custody and was being interviewed late Sunday, the Star-Telegram reports.
- Kim Williams is expected to plead guilty this week. She admitted plotting the killings of the Kaufman County district attorney, his wife and a top assistant. 鈥淲illiams 鈥� admitted earlier this month at her husband's capital murder death penalty trial that she helped plan the murders and was in the car for both slayings, including serving as the getaway driver for one. 鈥� Eric Lyle Williams was sentenced to death Dec. 17 in connection with killing Kaufman County District Attorney Mike McLelland, 63, his wife, Cynthia McLelland, 65, and a top prosecutor, Mark Hasse, 57. Eric Williams is on death row in Livingston.鈥�
- The number of people being apprehended on the Texas-Mexico border went up in 2014. 鈥淔ederal immigration agents apprehended nearly 97,000 more people trying to enter the U.S. illegally through Texas鈥� southern border during the 2014 fiscal year than they did in 2013. 鈥� About 332,460 people were apprehended in Texas between October 2013 and September 2014, up from 235,600 the year before.
