We may be on the cusp of winter, but things are pretty fiery in the demilitarized zone of the Dallas Arts District that lies between the Nasher Sculpture Center and Museum Tower.
Art&Seek's Anne Bothwell on the back-and-forth sniping of the last few days -- it involves a canceled meeting about a proposed "louver" system, which Museum Tower's experts now say won't work, and accusations of "publicity stunts," among other things.
BJ Austin talked with Mayor Mike Rawlings, and he says he's trying to get a compromise worked out by the time Mother Nature cranks up the heat next summer. "Both parties I know want it to be solved," Rawlings says. "And I’m working behind the scenes to try to do the best I can. But we’ve got to get them together to talk about solutions."
