The Dallas Arboretum is serving up some of Dallas鈥 best, with food from some of the area鈥檚 top chefs paired with more than 125 varieties of wine and beer from two dozen wineries. Stroll through gardens filled with spring blooms as you sample food from nearly 50 eateries, including Fearing鈥檚 Restaurant, Monarch, Nikki鈥檚 Greek Bistro, Shinsei and Slow Bone. Entry includes a glass logo wine goblet and more than three dozen small plates to munch on.
March 27 from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Dallas Arboretum in Dallas. $159 for general admission, $209 for VIP (Arboretum members get $20 off).
Jimmy O. Yang first caught our attention with his scene-stealing role as Jian-Yang in the HBO comedy series Silicon Valley, before going on to roles in the Netflix comedy series Space Force and the romantic comedy films Crazy Rich Asians and Love Hard. The Hong Kong-born comedian and actor, who became an American citizen a decade ago, has also written a book, How to American: An Immigrant鈥檚 Guide to Disappointing Your Parents. Though he鈥檚 in-demand in Hollywood, Yang got his start in the industry performing standup comedy. Check out his 鈥淏ig and Tall Tour鈥 at the Majestic Theatre for one night only.

FOODIELAND FOOD FESTIVAL
This family-friendly outdoor festival will feature live entertainment, carnival games and more than 225 food and retail vendors. The festival, which operates in five states, is all about celebrating community, culture and cuisine, with a multicultural selection of foods representing flavors from across the globe. Get your tickets online in advance, because no tickets will be sold at the gate.
March 28 from 3 to 10 p.m., March 29 from 1 to 10 p.m. and March 30 from 1 to 10 p.m at Fair Park in Dallas. $7, free for children 5 and younger. Parking is $12 per vehicle, plus tax.
CHRIS KATTAN
Chris Kattan is best known for his eight-year run on Saturday Night Live, where he portrayed iconic characters like Mr. Peepers, Mango and one of the head-bobbing Butabi Brothers opposite Will Ferrell, which led to the 1998 comedy film A Night at the Roxbury. He went on to starring film roles in Corky Romano and Undercover Brother and was a regular on the ABC TV series The Middle. Kattan, who got his start as a member of Los Angeles comedy troupe The Groundlings, is known for telling stories about his SNL stint during his standup shows. Catch him during his two-day run of 21-and-up performances in Plano.

Billed as the world鈥檚 leading ABBA tribute band, this Swedish group aims to re-create the experience of seeing the legendary pop group during its 1970s heyday. Put on your dancing shoes and get ready to sing along to hits like 鈥淢amma Mia,鈥 鈥淲aterloo鈥 and 鈥淒ancing Queen.鈥 The doors open at 6 p.m., and organizers recommend arriving early to enjoy the full experience.
March 29 at 8 p.m. at Arlington Music Hall in Arlington. $30-$114.
FREE This pop-up outdoor marketplace will feature more than 40 vendors offering handmade items, jewelry, fresh flowers, soaps, clothing, candles and other goods. Among the featured vendors are Crooked Creek Honey Farm, Buff City Soap Celina, TX 28 Beef Jerky, Glowstone Candle and Bread By Rona, which offers sourdough bread and sourdough starters. While you鈥檙e there, check out the PGA District鈥檚 many eateries and bars.
March 29 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the PGA District in Frisco. Free.
Fort Worth鈥檚 citywide arts summit brings together artists, performers, creatives, community advocates and policymakers for a day of learning and connection. Panel discussions will cover a range of topics, including the arts and education, artificial intelligence, physical and mental health, and partnering with the community. Booths will offer information about local arts organizations, and visitors can add to a collaborative art project. At 3 p.m., the event will transition into the free Fort Worth Art Dealers Association Spring Gallery Night, where you can check out some of the city鈥檚 best artwork.
March 29 from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Texas Wesleyan University in Fort Worth. $25-$100.
FREE Kaleidoscope Park in Frisco will host this inaugural fair aimed at promoting healthy lifestyles. Fitness classes and demonstrations will be offered, including guided workouts, yoga and meditation sessions, and movement activities. Nutrition experts will offer tips on healthy eating habits and meal planning, and a number of vendors will be on hand offering wellness goods, holistic health solutions and more. The event, which is sponsored by Baylor Scott and White Health, will also offer family-friendly activities including wellness challenges and interactive games.

FREE Want to get the kids out of the house? Check out this monthly entertainment series at Galleria Dallas. Drag the kids away from their screens for some real-world fun watching this high-energy, family-friendly show that blends magic and humor. Some lucky kids might even get to help Sam out with a magic trick or two. He鈥檒l be set up on Level 3, near the Play Place. Future PALS Showtime events include 鈥淪torytime With Ramblin鈥 Rita鈥 on May 1 at 10:30 a.m. and 鈥淒allas Children鈥檚 Theater鈥 on June 5 at 10:30 a.m.

Foodies are in for a treat at this four-day festival in Cowtown that offers five separate themed events. 鈥淭acos and Tequila鈥 will kick things off on April 3, offering a pair of Tex-Mex staples. The Main Event on April 4 will bring some of the local culinary community鈥檚 top talents to the table. April 5 will feature two events, a 鈥淩ise and Dine鈥 brunch experience and 鈥淏urgers, Brews and Blues鈥 at dinnertime. The 鈥淩ing of Fire鈥 cookout will close out the event on April 6, with live entertainment by Max Stalling and the Great Divide. Early-entry tickets are available each day and give visitors a one-hour head start.
April 3 from 6:30 to 9 p.m.; April 4 from 6:30 to 9 p.m.; April 5 from noon to 2:30 p.m. and 6:30 to 9 p.m.; and April 6 from 2 to 5 p.m. at Heart of the Ranch at Clearfork in Fort Worth. $65-$229.
This new Disney On Ice production features fan-favorite stories and characters from multiple Disney projects: Frozen 2, The Lion King, The Little Mermaid, Moana and Wish. In addition to accomplished figure skaters gliding across the ice, the show features high-flying acrobats soaring through the air. The show includes numerous Disney hit songs, including 鈥淯nder the Sea鈥 from The Little Mermaid and 鈥淗akuna Matata鈥 from The Lion King. Disney mainstays Mickey, Minnie, Donald and Goofy will also be there as DJs, remixing classic tunes. For an additional price, guests can add a preshow Character Experience that includes crafting, games, a sing-along and interactive photo opportunities with Anna and Elsa from the Frozen franchise.

The Dallas Arboretum and Botanical Garden invites North Texans to celebrate the 40th anniversary of Dallas Blooms, its dazzling annual display of nature and color. The floral festival, which has the theme of 鈥淥utside the Ordinary鈥 this year, is the largest of its kind in the Southwest. There will be over 500,000 spring blooming bulbs, with 350,000 of those composed of tulips, hyacinths, azaleas and daffodils. This year鈥檚 festival features the addition of sculptures by Seward Johnson, who is known for his life-size bronze statues that depict real-life people. Other festival highlights include weekend chef demos, creative arts and fitness classes, and live piano performances every weekend at noon in Jeanne鈥檚 Pavilion.
Through April 13 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily at the Dallas Arboretum. Tickets are $25.95 for adults, $21.95 for ages 2-12 and free for children under 2.
This exhibition of live exotic and native butterflies is back at the Fort Worth Botanic Garden鈥檚 Rainforest Conservatory. Visitors can walk near hundreds of butterflies from around the world among lush foliage and tropical flowers 鈥 and maybe even have one land on them. Visitors will have a chance to see butterflies from various parts of the world, including Central, North and South America, Africa, and Asia.
Through April 30 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily (last entry is at 4 p.m.) at the Fort Worth Botanic Garden in Fort Worth. Admission is $12, $10 for ages 65 and older, $8 for children ages 6-15. Tickets that include entrance to the full gardens are $12-$22. Admission is free for children 5 and under. Free parking.
Step back in time and take a voyage on one of history鈥檚 most ill-fated vessels in this interactive experience that chronicles the design, building, launch and tragic maiden voyage of the Titanic. 鈥淭itanic: The Exhibition鈥 features re-creations of the ship鈥檚 interior and music from the era, plus artifacts that survived the 1912 sinking of the world鈥檚 largest and most luxurious cruise ship. Each visitor鈥檚 boarding pass will correspond to a real passenger on the ship, and guests will learn about that passenger鈥檚 story as they go through the exhibition. A virtual reality experience will provide an in-depth look at the most recent forensic research related to the sunken vessel. The exhibition earned mostly positive reviews from guests during previous stops in Sydney, Los Angeles, Moscow and other cities.
Through May 31 at Pepper Square, 14902 Preston Road, in Dallas. Prices start at $34 for ages 13 and up, $25.50 for children ages 4-12 or members of the military, and $27.50 for seniors 65 or older. Children under 4 get in free. Discounts are available for groups of four or more.
