Leslie Beltran didn鈥檛 think she鈥檇 ever graduate from high school. After she got pregnant at 15 and dropped out, she tells 四虎影院鈥檚 Krys Boyd, 鈥淓ducation really didn鈥檛 cross my mind. It didn鈥檛 seem as important to me as having the baby.鈥�
But Leslie quickly realized that working fulltime to provide for her son 鈥� without a high school diploma 鈥� wouldn鈥檛 provide the kind of life or set the kind of example she wanted. After three years away, she鈥檚 back in class now, at , a Catholic high school in Fort Worth. Leslie plans to graduate, go on to college and become a nurse.
On , we鈥檒l hear from Leslie and five other students who know what it takes to finish school. The program airs on 四虎影院 TV Wednesday, Aug. 28, at 7 p.m.
