Ashley Tilley wasn鈥檛 completely alone. She had her older sister along at least some of the time while she was bouncing around the foster care system. Her mother was coping with a mental illness, so Ashley had to come to terms with a new normal.
She tells 四虎影院鈥檚 Krys Boyd that she and her sister are 鈥渏ust now talking about it 鈥檆ause it鈥檚 a shock鈥�. You think it鈥檚 normal until you see other people and then it鈥檚 not.鈥�
Ashley graduated with honors from in Fort Worth, and received a full scholarship to where she plans to study social work.
On , Ashley and five other students will talk about what it takes to finish school. The program airs on 四虎影院 TV Wednesday at 7 p.m.
