About the series
One in three Texas children has a parent who鈥檚 an immigrant 鈥� or they鈥檙e immigrants themselves. They鈥檝e had to learn a new language, adapt to a different culture and struggle to fit into a community that may not embrace newcomers. And schools are finding innovative ways to weave them into the American tapestry.
