Mental Health: On Our Minds
On Our Minds is the name of 四虎影院's mental health news initiative. The station began focusing on the issue in 2013, after the mass shooting in Newtown, Connecticut. Coverage is funded in part by the Donna Wilhelm Family Fund and Cigna.

Veterans' Mental Health Care: 'Filling In The Gaps'

The state moves forward today on a project to improve mental health services for veterans.

More than 50 people will learn in a webinar how to apply for grants from the Texas Veterans Initiative. It鈥檚 a public-private partnership using a million dollars in state money to help fund some creative regional programs.

The non-profit Meadows Mental Health Policy Institute in Dallas will evaluate the programs. CEO Tom Luce said the idea is to fill in the gaps in mental health services for veterans.
