How 3D Imaging Can Reshape Your Mouth

Aside from the expense and discomfort, the annoying part of getting a dental crown is the time involved – usually two separate visits to complete the process. Two different companies – one of them in North Texas â€“ have created systems using 3D imaging to reduce the crown procedure to one visit total.

Dr. Gary Severance of Richardson-based D4D Technologies talked about it in this week’s edition of "Vital Signs." Here's a video demonstration of how the process works:
