A former Baylor University student accused of raping another student is no longer welcome at the University of Texas at Dallas.
UT Dallas president Richard C. Benson issued a statement Wednesday afternoon, saying the student will not be able to participate in commencement activities, attend UT Dallas graduate school or be present on campus.
Jacob Walter Anderson of Garland has been attending UT-Dallas since leaving Baylor. The Fort Worth Star-Telegram reports that Anderson is currently in his .
On Monday, a Waco judge approved probation for the former Baylor fraternity president, allowing Anderson to for allegedly raping a woman at an off-campus party in February 2016 hosted by his fraternity, Phi Delta Theta.
He was arrested and later reportedly expelled from Baylor. Benson said Anderson was initially admitted at UT Dallas in 2016 "without knowing" his legal history.
Four counts of sexual assault against Anderson were eventually dismissed by the McLennan County District Attorney's Office.
The victim told the court that Anderson "stole my body, virginity and power over my body."
An online petition had been circulating, asking UT Dallas to remove Anderson from campus.
