Toll rates set to rise in North Texas starting July 1

Thirteen miles of the southern Chisholm Trail Parkway will be widened from two lanes to four from Tarrant County to Johnson County. The North Texas Tollway Authority is currently designing the project expected to be completed by late 2028.

Thirteen miles of the southern Chisholm Trail Parkway will be widened from two lanes to four from Tarrant County to Johnson County. The North Texas Tollway Authority is currently designing the project expected to be completed by late 2028.

Drivers using North Texas toll roads will soon see a modest increase in rates, as by the North Texas Tollway Authority (NTTA).

Beginning July 1, the cost per mile for drivers with a will increase from 20 cents to 21 cents. Those without a TollTag — using the — will pay about twice that rate.

The NTTA operates a network of eight tollways across the region, including the President George Bush Turnpike and Sam Rayburn Tollway.
