Attorney General Ken Paxton last month sued Coppell ISD leaders for allegedly teaching "CRT," in response to an undercover video recorded by the group Accuracy in Media. The district denies all claims.

Families left the meeting in tears as district trustees voted to close Pinkerton due to budget issues caused in part by a drop in enrollment since the pandemic.

The proposal comes after budget concerns fueled by declining enrollment since the pandemic.
