Watch John Wiley Price After His 1991 Trial: 'It's A Racist System' [Video]

In 1991, Dallas County Commissioner John Wiley Price was found guilty of a misdemeanor. He was sentenced to 75 days in jail for breaking the windshield wipers off a woman’s car during a protest. Here is news coverage from ĻӰԺ-TV of his weeklong trial and sentencing more than 20 years ago.

“I did not do anything wrong,” Price said back in 1991. “OK? And I contend that this is the system. This is the system. You understand that. It’s a racist system."

This week, federal officials charged Price with  for specific projects. Price has pleaded not guilty.
