From The Newsroom: Kent Scribner Is Officially Fort Worth鈥檚 Superintendent

Kent Scribner previously led the largest high school district in Phoenix, Arizona.

The top local stories this morning from the 四虎影院room:  Kent Scribner is Fort Worth鈥檚 new superintendent after the school board made it official last night. Scribner will start the new job in mid-October.

Also, the Dallas Landmark Commission yesterday gave the green light on giving the Lakewood Theater a landmark designation.

Finally, you鈥檒l meet the woman who remade school lunches for the Dallas school district, and got some kudos from First Lady Michelle Obama.
