The top local stories this morning from the ËÄ»¢Ó°Ôº Newsroom: A Muslim teen was arrested Monday for bringing in a homemade clock to his Irving high school, and the incident is .

Ahmed Mohamed enjoys tinkering with electronics and brought the clock to show his teacher. Police however, said it could be mistaken for a fake explosive. Mohamed wasn’t charged for the incident, but was suspended from school for three days.

Also, the proposed park along the Trinity River is getting a financial boost to the tune of $1 million in private money. Kat Chow looks into why some people aren’t singing praises.

And finally, a new medical school is in the works in Fort Worth, but some are doubtful it will help the state’s doctor shortage.
