From The Newsroom: Why Parks Are Good For Cities; A Dance Company Takes On Race

The top local stories this morning from the ËÄ»¢Ó°Ôºroom: The Belo Foundation last week gave Dallas $30 million to build four parks downtown. That’s good news for a city that consistently ranks in the middle in the , which rates park space.

Willis Winters, director of the Dallas Park and Recreation department, talks about why downtown parks are a major concern in the Friday Conversation.
