The top local stories this morning from ËÄ»¢Ó°Ôº: A year ago today, a at a Twin Peaks restaurant in Waco killed nine people and injured 18.
Gunfire erupted after a dispute in a restroom moved to the parking lot. More than 430 weapons were recovered from the crime scene, including 151 firearms.
Eventually, more than 150 bikers were indicted on charges of organized crime. Their bond was set at a million dollars each.
McLennan County officials were criticized for the million dollar bonds and the identical charges filed against everyone arrested. No trial dates have been set and evidence still needs to be tested. The bikers face up to life in prison.
