A gunman, identified as 29-year-old Omar Mateen, killed 49 people and injured 53 at Pulse, a popular gay nightclub in Orlando, Florida on Sunday, June 12. Mateen, too, was killed after police broke into the building, where he was holding 30 more people hostage for several hours, and shot him. The night is known as the deadliest shooting in modern U.S. history.

Turtle Creek Chorale will perform a free concert for community healing after the Orlando shooting Sunday.

The performed a memorial concert called "Songs for Healing" at in Dallas to remember the victims of Sunday's mass shooting at Pulse, a gay nightclub in Orlando.

The free community concert took place at the Cathedral of Hope, 5910 Cedar Spring Road in Dallas. The YouTube video was made private after the live stream broadcast on Tuesday, June 14.

Neil Cazares-Thomas took over the pulpit a year ago at Cathedral of Hope, which bills itself as the nation's biggest LGBT church.
