Voters continued to turn out in record-breaking numbers across North Texas and the state on the second day of early voting Tuesday.
According to unofficial totals, more than 53,000 voters cast their ballots Tuesday in Dallas County, which opened significantly more early voting polling places this year. In Tarrant County even more people 鈥� almost 45,000 鈥� voted on the second day of early voting than on the first. The same thing happened in Denton, with 16,955 votes cast on Monday and 19,311 on Tuesday. Collin County saw a jump from just over 18,000 second-day voters in 2012 to 30,644 this year.
