The Dallas County Republican Party has a new leader: the first woman to head the local party. Missy Shorey unanimously Monday night.
Shorey will take over immediately for the previous chairman, Phillip Huffines, The Dallas Morning News reports. Huffines resigned this month to run for the Texas Senate.
