Top Stories: Mother Gives Birth With Transplanted Uterus; The Kimbell's Cassanova Exhibit

A woman who had been born without a uterus to a baby at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas. Hospital spokesman Craig Civale confirmed Friday that the birth had taken place. The hospital has had a study underway for several years to enroll up to 10 women for uterus transplants.

  • A new program known as “cite and release” goes into effect today in the city of Dallas. The program gives police the option to give a person possessing less than 4 ounces of marijuana a citation to appear in court and let them go, instead of taking them to jail. As , it might sound like a simple ticket, but it’s more complicated than that.

  • The Kimbell Art Museum has devoted an entire exhibition to one man who wasn't really an artist. Casanova.  Why is the famous seducer worth this attention? , Jerome Weeks sat down with Ian Kelly, author of a celebrated biography, to find out.
