The top local stories this morning from ĻӰԺ: 2017 may have been the warmest year on record for North Texas, but it doesn’t feel like it today.
Wind chills were in the mid-teens this morning and temperatures today are expected to be in the upper 20s to lower 30s.
“We also saw very cold temperatures to start out the year in 2017 similar to what we’re experiencing now,” National Weather Service meteorologist Juan Hernandez said. “We might see some flurries today, but we’re not expecting any accumulations.”
Drivers still need to watch out for icy patches on the road. Slick roads caused about around Tarrant County on New Year’s Eve. were reported in Collin and Dallas Counties.
