The flu epidemic has closed down yet another North Texas school.
The website for Prince of Peace Catholic School in Plano says too many students and staff are absent because of flu. So the building's closed Tuesday and Wednesday for cleaning. Prince of Peace will reopen Thursday.
White Rock Montessori School in Dallas remains closed Tuesday.
In Weatherford, a teacher has died from flu complications. was a second-grade teacher at Ikard Elementary. She died Sunday.
Charlotte Lagone with the district said campus custodians have been deep-cleaning Weatherford schools since December. Ikard Elementary underwent another deep cleaning Friday.
The latest numbers show about of Tarrant County students and of Dallas County students have been absent due to the flu.
