Fort Worth Mayor Betsy Price to attend a White House meeting next week led by President Donald Trump and his administration regarding infrastructure.
The Fort Worth Star-Telegram reports Price will head to Washington D.C. for Monday's announcement of a $1.5 trillion infrastructure plan. Price is believed to be the only Texas mayor invited, and says she would like to see more funding come to North Texas. According to reports, Trump will call for $200 billion in new federal funding, including $100 billion in cost-sharing payments for state and local projects.
