A candlelight vigil Sunday, Feb. 11 was held to honor Richardson Police Officer David Sherrard.

Friends, family members and officers yesterday 37 year-old Richardson Police Officer David Sherrard, who was fatally shot while responding to an apartment call.

Sherrard’s death is the first on-duty officer death in Richardson Police history – and the first for Texas this year.
