Top Stories: North Texas Law Enforcement Still Watching For Suspicious Packages

The top local stories this morning from ËÄ»¢Ó°Ôº: Though the 24-year-old white man suspected in the Austin bombings law enforcement in North Texas are still on alert.

a suspicious package was found early this morning near the sixth-grade wing of Furlough Middle School. The district's Facebook account said the package was safely removed after law enforcement determined it was not a threat.

last night near a recycling facility in McKinney and an elementary school in Dallas. There were no reports of injuries or damage, and police cleared both scenes.

The grenade in Dallas was determined to be real, but initial findings determined the grenade in McKinney may have been a novelty item.
