Former President George H.W. Bush was hospitalized Sunday morning, according to spokesman . Bush was taken to Houston Methodist Hospital hours after a funeral for former first lady Barbara Bush.
The the former president was hospitalized twice in 2017, and in 2015, Bush was hospitalized in Maine after falling and breaking a bone in his neck.
McGrath said the former president is “responding to treatments and appears to be recovering.â€

The Dallas-based carrier says cancellations over the weekend and Monday were caused by the need to inspect engine fan blades on its planes. The inspections come a week after a passenger was killed in an in-flight accident on a Southwest Airlines plane bound for Dallas. The National Transportation Safety Board believes one of the engine fan blades snapped during the flight, sending shrapnel through a window.
- After Hurricane Harvey hammered the Texas Gulf Coast, state and federal officials decided to change some of the ways they respond to housing needs. The Federal Emergency Management Agency – FEMA – was concerned it would not be able to handle the housing recovery effort. So Gov.
