Polls have opened for runoff elections to settle races from the March primaries.

If a single candidate did not win a majority of the votes in the primary, the two candidates who earned the most votes head into a runoff election.

The most high-profile statewide race is the Democratic gubernatorial runoff between former Dallas County Sheriff Lupe Valdez and Houston businessman Andrew White. about other North Texas races.
