Three University of Texas professors in New Orleans to revive their lawsuit challenging the campus carry law on Wednesday. That law requires public universities in Texas to allow people with concealed-handgun licenses to carry weapons on campus.
The professors believe the presence of guns in their classrooms could discourage open academic discussion. A federal judge in Texas last year threw out the suit, saying the professors didn't offer strong evidence to substantiate their concerns.
