Students in the Bonham school district won’t be able to go to school for a week. The district Tuesday afternoon beginning Wednesday through next Tuesday because of the number of students and employees who are experiencing flu-like symptoms.
District officials say all of their campuses have seen a growing number of confirmed cases of the flu. Besides classes, all evening activities have also been canceled or relocated.
Classes in Bonham ISD are scheduled to resume on Wednesday, Jan. 24.
