School kids in Bonham, an hour northeast of Plano, are getting a week off school starting Wednesday. The reason? The flu.
So many students and staffers at the district’s six schools are sick that officials consulted with health leaders and decided to shut down to let everyone recover. ĻӰԺ with some kids on their first day off.

This year, the group is deploying a high-tech system in all of its coverage areas so that it can get a more accurate tally of people experiencing unsheltered homeless, and do so in real-time. As , that means the homeless alliance doesn’t have to wait for official results months later to get working on homeless solutions.
